We are unique from other gifting companies as we hand make our wooden boxes on our premises. The wooden boxes we use are not only sustainable and reusable, but they can be used for years to come, and they make a beautiful keepsake box. Customers can choose between black, raw wood, pink, blue, grey, and white wood. We secure every gift with a beautiful, high quality Petersham ribbon and a gift tag. Since we are a small company, we give personalised attention to all our clients, and orders. On client request, we will also hand write your message for you on the gift tag that will be attached to the ribbon on the gift box.

New Services Offered
The Little Box Company now offers full colour custom print on wooden boxes, this is a recent addition to our services. We can also do a single colour printed satin ribbon to add to the customisation of your corporate or personal gifting. Another addition is a full colour small batch custom corrugated carton that we can print for smaller batches or corporates.
Is there a deadline for orders?
At The Little Box Company, we do not have a specific deadline for any major events. However, we do recommend that you order your gifts in advance, to avoid any disappointment. Whether for year-end corporate gifts, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, or any other celebratory period, there is an increase in traffic. Certain disappointments, such as low stock, no stock, or late deliveries are bound to happen. Therefore, the earlier you start, the better!
Our Delivery Information
It is important to note that different areas in South Africa will have different delivery times, especially those situated in “Grey Areas”. These areas refer to those that delivery companies do not deliver to daily. For more information on whether you are situated in a Grey Area or not, please get in touch with us.
As The Little Box Company is based in Johannesburg, we are able to offer same-day delivery in Johannesburg and Pretoria on gift boxes that have been ordered and paid for before 9:00am. Any orders made after this time will be delivered the following business day. In terms of the rest of South Africa, the delivery offered is typically overnight delivery.
With over 18 years’ worth of experience in the industry, we have an excellent track record of 99% of our boxes being delivered on time and intact. We only make use of the best couriers with whom we have built good relationships with over the years. Please find our delivery summary below.
Next Working Day Deliveries: Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, Cape Town
1-2 Working Days Deliveries: Mpumalanga, Port Elizabeth, Polokwane
All other areas may take between 2-5 Working Days to deliver
All grey areas may take 2-7 Working Days to deliver
If you have placed your order well in advance, we will do our best to send it out as early as possible to get it delivered on time, avoiding any disappointments.
Please Note: We do not deliver on weekends and Public Holidays. Our office hours are 08:30am – 16:00pm Mondays – Fridays.
